Rheinorange by German sculptor Lutz Fritsch organizes and structures the space and makes it a new experience. In German language you spell “Rheinorange” just like “Rein Orange”, the original RAL colour Pure orange Nr 2004 in which the steel monument is painted. "Rhineorange" is also a shining symbol of renewal, change and identification with the Duisburg site.
EuroDisplay
The name EuroDisplay stands for innovative and high-quality mannequins. Nearly every form, colour and surface is possible – from naturalistic to abstract designs. All RAL CLASSIC colours are available: the classic RAL 9005 Jet black and RAL 9010 Pure white in high gloss, but also loud colours such as RAL 4003 Heather violet or RAL 6013 Reed green.

The flag of the federal republic of Germany is a national emblem and symbol of state. The Germany national flag is a tricolor out of three equally sized horizontal bars with an aspect ratio of 3:5, in RAL colours 9005, 3020 and 1021.

The German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs listed the plastics colours RAL 120 80 30 P and 040 80 20P in its specifications for the new pass for disabled persons. Both colours are part of the colour standard for plastics, RAL PLASTICS P2.
Opening bridge "Prayer of Shadow"
The spectacular bridge over the Amstel is coated in RAL 6007 Bottle green. Within the space of a minute, this high-tech-bridge in Vrouwenakker (south of Amsterdam) can be raised or lowered.

A 15-metre-wide, 15.6-metre-long lever arm weighing 84.6 tons opens and closes the bridge. Like an insect, the bridge sits over the Amstel, a small river that divides the provinces Noord- und Zuid-Holland. The dark green colouring was chosen on purpose: That way, the contours of the elegant bridge slowly dissolve at dusk.
