Experience rooms in RAL healthcare colours!
Sankt Augustin, October 2012 'The colours of health & care' inside a black box – it's not a contradiction at all. Instead, this is an invitation to enter virtual rooms 'in the colours of health & care' at ORGATEC in Cologne, Germany at the RAL gGmbH stand (hall 10.1, aisle F, stand 042). Escape into perception-orientated, aesthetic rooms with RAL and the interior planners from Connect Sense – with 3D glasses.
The Connect Sense approach to colour design is exclusively based on ‘Colours of Health & Care’, the RAL book that deals with healthcare colours from both the colour theory-artistic and analytical-scientific viewpoints. The volume serves as a planning aid for effective, human-aesthetic colour design and is also a reference work for planners in the office/administration area.
From 23 - 27 October 2012, ORGATEC 2012 is on in the Koelnmesse halls in Cologne, Germany. Under the motto 'MODERN OFFICE & OBJECT', the trade fair uses sustainable workstation design and modern office concepts to put people – company employees – in the spotlight. Colour design plays a major role here. Colour underscores the identity of a company in the sense of 'corporate identity' and when applied to offices and homes, colour design has an impact on the achievement potential of the people who work and live in them.
RAL gGmbH has joined up with interior planners Connect Sense to present examples of rooms in colour at ORGATEC 2012 – using 3D technology. There, you will experience rooms that possess an optimal emotional quality. This means the entire structure of the room has a balance between form and colour. 'People need environments that they like,' said Professor Axel Venn, internationally recognized colour expert and author of RAL colour book 'The Colours of Health & Care'.
With his scientific studies, Professor Venn has supplied proof of the extent to which colour can be used as an instrument of expression – a language.
These scientific findings can also be interpreted in colour to yield a concrete answer to the question of what the RAL colour code for 'appealing' looks like – an important aid for planners in the office/creative area.
Axel Venn wants to turn offices into oases of well-being. This is why he sees the future of the office in colour: in general, office space design should be approached from the psychological perspective with the aim of using humour to keep motivation high. 'Then employees pull in the same direction,' confirmed Andreas Tuschen, Connect Sense CEO. 'With the right atmosphere and stress-free performance, I can increase office productivity.'
As a supplement to its 3D presentation at ORGATEC 2012, RAL is presenting 'The Colour Dictionary' and 'The Colours of Health & Care' by Axel Venn as well as the RAL colour fan decks, RAL DIGITAL and the RAL PLASTICS plastic colour chips for architects, designers and office furniture manufacturers.
A stimulating, informative brochure on the RAL book ‘The Colours of Health & Care’ awaits every visitor to the RAL stand at ORGATEC 2012.
